Testimonials
"Dr. Raghad truly has a gift for broaching difficult topics with care, kindness, and compassion. During her session on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, which was presented to all staff members at Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, she kept the audience engaged and feeling comfortable to participate, despite discussing sensitive topics such as racism and unconscious biases. The positive feedback received after the presentation centered around her simple yet effective approach, visual aids, her ease in explaining new topics to a multi-generational audience and her openness to answering tough questions. Employees walked out of the room after Dr. Raghad’s presentation feeling more connected to their neighbours, appreciating other’s perspectives, and having even greater compassion for others".
-Ayr Farmers Mutual Team
"Raghad gave a virtual presentation for community health workers, to educate and guide us through aspects of anti-racism work that were new and possibly difficult for many of us. Her choice to use a compassionate and trauma-informed approach was key to our learning. She was respectful of our own knowledge and experience, and guided us towards generosity, acceptance and inclusion. The format of the session was suitable and supportive and demonstrated the clarity of her academic work on the subject. Raghad’s comfort and skill with teaching made for a very effective learning experience. I feel hopeful that many others will benefit from this training – not just personally, but as a community too. Amazing - the session exceeded my expectations, I am grateful for the hope she brought in the worst of times."

She was smart and funny while commanding respect and admiration; not just admiration for her, but also for her message.
